TL;DR: Generic AI tools don't address the unique workflows of creative agencies. At DDVB TECH, we build AI products domain-first — observing real agency workflows, identifying bottlenecks, prototyping on n8n, and validating with real users before productionizing. Our stack: n8n for orchestration, Claude AI and Perplexity for intelligence, Next.js and Supabase for the frontend.
Why Creative Agencies Need Custom AI
The AI revolution is here, but most tools are built for generic use cases. Creative agencies have unique workflows — from brand guideline enforcement to PR comment generation — that off-the-shelf AI tools simply don't address.
At DDVB TECH, we build AI products from the inside out. Having operated as a creative agency for over 30 years, we understand the daily friction points that slow creative teams down.
Our Approach: Domain-First AI
Rather than starting with technology and searching for problems, we start with the workflows our team actually uses every day:
- Observe — Watch how content gets created, reviewed, and published
- Identify — Find the repetitive steps that consume the most time
- Prototype — Build a quick n8n workflow to automate the bottleneck
- Validate — Test with real users on real projects
- Productionize — Harden the workflow with error handling, monitoring, and a proper UI
The Tech Stack
Every product we build sits on a consistent foundation:
- n8n for workflow orchestration — visual, debuggable, and extensible
- Claude AI & GPT-4o for text generation — different models for different tasks
- Perplexity for real-time research — grounding AI outputs in current facts
- Next.js + Supabase for web interfaces — when a Telegram bot isn't enough
- Yandex Cloud for sovereignty — when data must stay in Russia
Lessons Learned
After building 25+ AI products, here are the patterns that consistently work:
Always include a human review step. AI-generated content for brand communications needs human oversight. Our workflows generate drafts, not final outputs.
Use the right model for each step. Perplexity for research, Claude for nuanced writing, GPT-4o for structured data extraction. No single model excels at everything.
Deliver where people already work. Our most-used products deliver via Telegram and Google Docs — tools our team already has open all day.
What's Next
We're expanding into visual brand compliance — using multimodal AI to check whether design deliverables match brand guidelines. The intersection of AI and visual brand identity is where we see the most untapped potential.
